ARTIFACT: This is a Postal cover for the US Submarine Jawfish Keel Laying at the Electric Boat Co., Groton Conn. Cachet sponsored by W.M.F. Spader and the A.N.C.S. Argonauts. The submarine was never built; construction was cancelled on July 29, 1944.

VINTAGE: Circa 1944.

SIZE: About 6-1/2 in width by 3-1/2" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed paper wit blue ink.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Slight wear at edges.
