ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces gold-filled flight officer rank by Balfour. The rank is enameled in a rich cobalt blue and has a golden border that gives way to a solid horizontal stripe at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: BALFOUR 1/10 10K GF.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBX90 LCIX12/10

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The rank shows a slight abrasion to the enamel.
