ARTIFACT: This is a hardcover copy of "e;Airway to India"e; with its original dust jacket. The book is about the World War II activities of the United States Army Air Force's Central African Division Air Transport Command, based at Roberts Field in Monrovia, Liberia. This has a partial dust jacket with great graphics but it is in rough shape.

VINTAGE: Circa 1945 (World War II).

SIZE: 48 pages with black-and-white photographs; approximately 10-1/4"e; in height and 7-3/8" in width and 1/2" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cloth-bound cover, paper, paper dust jacket.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: Copyright 1945 by Headquarters Army Service Forces, Army Exchange Service, 25 West 43 Street, New York 18.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LHEX5/13

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The book has light to medium yellowing throughout and no rips or writing inside; dust jacket (partial) is in three pieces.
