ARTIFACT: This is a short World War II unit history of the United States Army Air Forces 9th Bomb Group (20th Air Force). The booklet is entitled "War Journal", and was produced in the Pacific Theatre and reprinted by the 947th Engineer Aviation Topographic Company. The book details all the 9th missions with photographic documentation and finishes up with Citations and Awards and a table of the statistics involving the group fifty-one attacks. The book's back cover has some great examples of squadron insignia.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 27 pages including black and white photographs; approximately 7"e; in height and 9" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The book shows only some light wear with some areas of light discoloration to the cover; minor descriptive handwriting on back cover.
