ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 96th Fighter Squadron, 82nd Fighter Group, 12th Air Force Jacket Patch. This group was part of the North African Desert Air Force. The patch shows a rabbit (hare) in the desert wearing boxing gloves.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 5" wide by 5" high.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather with a painted image.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto a garment.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Very minor wear; slight cracking on the painted image.
