ARTIFACT:
This is a beautiful United States Army Air Forces 457th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force jacket patch by the famous Akron Felt & Chenille Company. The 457th participated in D-Day, the Holland Invasion, the Battle of the Bulge and the Rhine. This patch is embroidered on felt with a dirigible skin backing and reads FAIT ACCOMPLI (Feat accomplished).

Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 5-5/16" in height and 4-1/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads with dirigible skin backing.
