ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Navy "E" for excellence in production pin for Textile Machine Works. The pin is enameled in red, white and blue and shows two crossed cannon and an anchor at center. 

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Pin: approximately 7/8" in height and 5/8" in width; card: 1-3/16" square.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing and stabilization pin.

MARKINGS: BASTIAN BROS. ROCHESTER N.Y and union mark on pin and GOLD PLATE on card.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a war worker collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VG/EX03 LDJX11/10 SLDEX08/22

CONDITION: 5 (Very Good - Fine): The pin shows very light wear, but a chip of paint has let go; card is creased and lightly discolored in spots.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
