ARTIFACT: This is a shoulder patch for the United States Marine Amphibious Corps aviation engineers. The patch shows a winged castle within a red diamond outlined in white with five stars in the background. This patch is a variation which has a thinner border around the diamond.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/2" in height and 2-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCX95 LDIX4/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows some light wear.
