ARTIFACT: This is a United States Army Tank Destroyer shoulder patch. The patch is orange bordered in black and shows the "tank-eating tiger" crushing a four-wheeled tank in its jaws.


There are many variations of this patch. This particular variant has flat (as opposed to pointed) bottom teeth, thicker red embroidered parts, and a very thin orange separation line between the tracks and he panther head.. 

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.
