ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Fort Dix Fire Department patch. Fort Dix is in New Jersey, and served a training center before, during and after World War II. The patch is round in blue twill and shows a golden castle at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-11/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBX94 LDEX5/11 SDEX11/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows some light wear, especially on the backing.
