ARTIFACT: This is a World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army 45th Infantry Division, also known as "Thunderbird". The patch is diamond-shaped and shows a golden Phoenix-like bird against a field of red.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/16" in height and 3-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months LAHX5/11 SAHX9/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows some light wear.
