ARTIFACT: This is a United States Army distinctive insignia for the 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion by Dondero. The DI shows a repeating red and silver pattern and three fleur-de-lis at the top of the insignia.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking catch (swivel part is broken).

MARKINGS: A.H. DONDERO INC. WASH. D.C.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAEXL10 LDGEX2/11

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The insignia has some small areas of light to medium wear and tarnish but all of the enamel is intact; swivel portion of catch is broken but pin still will catch.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
