ARTIFACT: This is a United States Army Air Forces 67th Fighter Squadron, 347th Fighter Group, 13th Air Force Aussie-made squadron patch. The squadron was based in Guadalacanal in 1942-1943 and flew P-39 and P-38 aircraft. The patch was designed by Disney and shows a rooster suited up for a boxing match in vibrant colors.

VINTAGE: Circa 1942-1943.

SIZE: About 5" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidery thread on wool felt, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto uniform or Flight Clothing.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Very minor wear.
