ARTIFACT: WWII United States Army Enlisted Man photo album from Alaska. The album contains a photograph from the 91st Naval Construction Battalion (Seabees) band and field shots showing M-1 carbines, M1A helmets, and M-41 field jackets. The album features a painted leather cover bound with rawhide and approximately 25 pages with photographs on nearly every page. The beautiful cover depicts a sled dog scene showing igloos and mountains on the horizon and reads: "PHOTOGRAPHS" in the top corner and shows the handwritten name: "HARRY FREEDMAN", along the bottom it reads: "ALASKA".

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 9-3/4" X 6-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather, cardstock, photographs, paint, tape

ATTACHMENT: Rawhide tied binding

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine&emdash;Excellent): The album shows moderate wear, mostly to edges, some photographs have been removed, nearly all pages contain photos, overall very fine condition.
