ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United Aircraft Company factory visitor badge. Established in 1929 as the United Aircraft and Transport Corporation, the company catered to both military and civilian aviation demands. The corporation included such entities as Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky and Chance-Vought. It is in aqua blue celluloid.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, tin.

ATTACHMENT: Clip with spring.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aviation company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MEL94 LFJX6/13 SFJX4/17

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has very light wear and some small spots of oxidation to the reverse only.
