ARTIFACT: This is a World War II English-made shoulder patch for the United States 9th Air Force. The patch is in heavy embroidery with brightly colors, and shows a winged 9 and a star.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 2-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX12 LDIX2/12 SDIX02/22/18

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The patch shows some light wear with a few small moth bites along the edge.
