ARTIFACT: This is a World War II general service insignia for the Royal Air Force. The insignia is in embroidered wool, showing the British coat of arms and its motto, DIEU ET MON DROIT (God and my right).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" height and 2-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt, cotton/silk embroidery thread, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX90 LCHX1/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some areas of light to medium wear.
