ARTIFACT: This is a World War II submarine launch tag for the USS Odax SS-484, which was launched April 10, 1945 at Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard. After several years of service, the Odax was sold to the Brazilian Navy.

VINTAGE: Circa 1945.

SIZE: About 1-3/4 in width by 2-1/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Foiled card stock.

ATTACHMENT: Silk string.

MARKINGS: None.
