ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNAF) pilot hat or cap wing in sterling silver. Made in Toronto by the Roden Brothers firm, this wing was manufactured for RNAF pilots training in Canada. This example is missing the cotter pin.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately: 2-1/4" in length x 1/2" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops/lugs - cotter pin missing.

MARKINGS: "STERLING 925 R" and maker's mark - lion.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Norwegian militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX97 LCGEX8/16 SCJJX06/20

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The pilot badge shows minor to moderate wear, cotter pin is missing, handsome tarnish, overall excellent condition.
