ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Made USS Trout SS-202 ashtray. The USS Trout was a high-scoring submarine, credited with sinking 12 ships. The vessel, however, was lost during her 11th war patrol. The tray has indentations to hold 4 cigarettes at a time.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 5-3/8" in diameter 1/2" height

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel
