ARTIFACT: This is a circa World War II Port of New York International Longshoremen's Association (ILA) photo identification badge. The ILA, a labor union representing longshoremen working the Eastern U.S. coast, the Gulf Coast, the Great Lakes and Puerto Rico, as well as parts of the Canadian Maritimes, was established in 1892. This badge belonged to an H. Hendrickson.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, painted details, celluloid, photograph.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch, back plate.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII war worker photo ID badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEL14 LFEX1/14

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some light wear and slight oxidation to the reverse.
