ARTIFACT: This is a hardcover copy of "Reminiscences of Your "Hitch" in the United States Coast Guard During World War II", a pictorial record of the United States Coast Guard Temporary Reserve activities in Division 5A, First Naval District, Boston, Massachusetts. The book has many group photos of the reservists and a cool aerial shot of the Army Base in Boston.

VINTAGE: Published December 1946 (post-World War II).

SIZE: 96 pages; approximately 9-3/16" in height and 11-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed cloth-bound cover, glossy paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: "William Richard Stack" written on one page; Published in Boston, Massachusetts December 1946 Copyright 1946 by Division SA Committee.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Coast Guard pictorial history collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. LHEX10/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The book has a small mark on the cover and some light wear at the corners; one small rip along the edge of one page and one part of a photograph of Commandant Waesche has been scratched at.
