ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II photo identification badge for a Watertown Arsenal employee (Watertown, Massachusetts.) Watertown Arsenal, now on the American Society of Civil Engineers' list of historic landmarks, was used by the United States Army from 1816 until 196The badge is numbered 1151 and shows a photo of employee Salvatore Mandile. VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin, two eyelets.
