ARTIFACT: This is a World War II photo identification badge for a Watertown Arsenal employee (Watertown, Massachusetts.) Watertown Arsenal, now on the American Society of Civil Engineers' list of historic landmarks, was used by the United States Army from 1816 until 1968. The badge is numbered 1151 and shows a photo of employee Salvatore Mandile. We have another badge of Salvatore's listed separately for sale (please see the link at the bottom of this page for more information).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin, two eyelets.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a war worker collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX12 LFEX5/12 SFEX11/13

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The badge has some minor denting and a small piece of celluloid is missing.
