ARTIFACT: This is a World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army Military District of Washington, a major Army command. The patch is oval and shows the Washington Monument with a sword on a diagonal to the structure at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 2-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The patch you receive will either be the patch pictured or one in similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LGX6/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows light wear and minor soiling.
