ARTIFACT: This is a Japanese World War II NCO (non-commissioned officer) pilot wing. The wing shows a wreathed star and propeller flanked by a set of plane wings.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 15/16" in height and 3-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk-wrapped cardboard embroidered in silk/cotton and tinsel-wire threads with treated paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): This is a wonderful wing with only light wear.
