ARTIFACT: This is an Italian-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 169th Infantry Regiment. The DI is a red, white and blue crest showing a lion at top and reading ARMIS STANT LEGES (laws are maintained by force of arms).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 5/8" height and 1/2" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RAV92 LCJX10/10

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent-): DI has light wear and moderate tarnish.
