ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Imperial Japanese badge for those wounded in battle, or "sen-sho". The pin is in enameled silver and has a double safety-pin closure. The characters on reverse read "Military Wound Badge Sen-sho".

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled silver, brass pins.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical double safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: Characters on reverse reading "Military Wound Badge Sen-sho".

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Imperial Japanese badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-KY-25-13 LBDEX9/13 SBDEX10/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some lines in the enamel but it is all intact.
