ARTIFACT: WWII Home Front War Worker lapel pin by Gemsco for employees of Oldsmobile who made cannons for the P-39 aircraft and early tanks. The round, red, white, and blue enameled silver lapel pin shows the image of a p-39 and tank in raised detail and surrounding it reads: "WE KEEP 'EM FIRING".

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in dimeter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with "C" type catch

MARKINGS: "GEMSCO"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Home Front collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJX16 LEEX9/16

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The lapel pin shows minor to moderate wear, much of the enamel details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
