ARTIFACT: This is a circa World War II employee badge for the Hercules Powder Company of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Hercules was formed in 1912 by a man with a mythically fitting name: T.W. Bacchus. The badge is oval and is numbered 670.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass, black painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: 670 on front.

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The badge has some areas of moderate wear and tarnish.
