ARTIFACT: This is a World War II German E-Boat badge in the first type. This badge is pictured in Michael Tucker's "German Combat Badges of the Third Reich" and came from Detlev Niemann. It is extremely rare to find this badge in such excellent condition.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated tombak.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal T-style pin with C catch and hook at top of reverse of badge.

MARKINGS: SCHWERIN BERLIN 68 and 6.40 (price) written on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Nazi Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-LB-NBJX10 LCDEJX2/11 SBHJJX9/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge shows only a few very minor spots of wear, mostly along edges.
