ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Free French 9th Colonial Infantry Division (9eme Division d'Infanterie Coloniale) badge. The badge is a golden anchor bearing the Cross of Lorraine.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 1-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Anodized and painted aluminum.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with two small saddles.

MARKINGS: A. AUGIS-LYON 29 MEE. ST. BARTHELEMY.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Badge has some very small areas of wear.
