ARTIFACT: WWII Era Factory Worker Photo ID badge from Union Twist Drill in Athol, Massachusetts by Whitehead & Hoag. The center of the badge features the workers photo with the numbers: "1036" and surrounding it reads: "UNION TWIST DRILL CO. ATHOL, MASS." Union Twist Drill was founded in 1905 by a group of men and produced metal tool cutting instruments in the Worcester County area.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, photo, steel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: "WHITEHEAD HOAG"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII Homefront War Workers collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX99 LDIX9/15 SDEX05/22

CONDITION: 5+ (Fine-): The pin shows moderate wear and the celluloid has deep scratches, the photo appears to be unaffected by this and remains in nice condition.
