ARTIFACT: This is a pair of English-made World War II United States Army Major rank insignia. The insignia were made by J. R. Gaunt of London.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1" in width (each).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal British kick (Y) pin with C catch (on each).

MARKINGS: J.R. GAUNT LONDON (on each).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX95 LFEX3/12 hFEX1/15

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The insignia show little wear.
