ARTIFACT: This is a CBI theatre-made United States Army Air Forces 493rd Bomb Squadron, 7th Bomb Group, 10th Air Force jacket patch. The patch shows an armored fist crushing a missile and reads VANGUARDS.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 6-3/8"e; wide by 6-3/4"e; high.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted leather.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto clothing.

MARKINGS: none.
