ARTIFACT:
This is a circa World War II Royal Canadian Engineers Scottish Regiment Glengarry cap with WWII RCE Hat Badge. The cap badge reads HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE (shame upon him who thinks evil upon it). The cap is a size 7 1/8. (I am told this is not a correct pairing, but this is as the cap was found, and the badge has clearly been in place for a LONG time, so selling the 2 pieces together.) Perhaps a Royal Canadian Engineers veteran of Scottish descent wore this as a parade piece. Who knows? Nice WWII period cap and badge???sold together???
