ARTIFACT: This is a wooden plaque for the United States Army 801st Tank Destroyer Battalion from circa World War II through the 1950s reunion period. The plaque is in boldly painted pine and is very primitive looking, with a fierce "tank-eating tiger" framed by the words SEEK STRIKE DESTROY and a roughly notched border.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II-1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 9-1/8" in height and 10-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted pine.

ATTACHMENT: Bracket.

MARKINGS: None.
