ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Technical Manual TM 30-326 "Persian: A Guide to the Spoken Language". It covers many useful Persian words and phrases and examples of words on Persian road signs. This booklet has some black-and-white cartoon illustrations to accompany the instructional text.

VINTAGE: Circa September 1943 (World War II).

SIZE: 84 pages (including a couple of blank Notes pages); approximately 5-1/4" in height and 4-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: U.S GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE: 1943 O-550966.
