ARTIFACT: This is a World War I United States Army Victory medal with three bars. It comes with a lapel ribbon and discharge pin. The medal shows winged Victory on the front and the reverse reads THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILIZATION FRANCE ITALY SERBIA JAPAN MONTENEGRO RUSSIA GREECE GREAT BRITAIN BELGIUM BRAZIL PORTUGAL RUMANIA CHINA. The bars read (from top) SOMME OFFENSIVE, YPRES-LYS, and DEFENSIVE SECTOR.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately" in height and in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze medal and plated brass bar with silk ribbon, brass pins, one with silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch, suspension ring; lapel studs.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-DMB-25-12 LABJX10/12 SAAJX8/14 PHB/EJX9/14

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The medal and pins have some moderate wear and tarnish.
