ARTIFACT: This is a World War I United States Aircraft Bureau worker badge. The badge shows the American and British flags in enamel crossed at center and reads ALLIED INSPECTION GAUGES WAR SERVICE BRITISH WAR MISSION US AIRCRAFT BUREAU.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: 1" height and 13/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enameled details.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: DIEGES & CLUST PLATED.
