ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare World War I United States Air Service Pilot Junior Military Aviator Wing in Nickel & Plated Brass. As Shown on Page 17 (Biographical) of Duncan Campbell's Book, AVIATION BADGES AND INSIGNIA of the UNITED STATES ARMY 1913 - 1946. 

VINTAGE: World War I.

SIZE: Approximately: 7/8" in height x 3-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped Nickel & lacquered brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with tongue type catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Service badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-RLB-VAJJM07/97-24 LBCGEX04/29/24

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The wing shows minor wear to the highest point and nice patina.
