ARTIFACT: This is a World War I Imperial German Trench Art Match Box Holder in Brass. "Gott Mit Uns" (God with us)

VINTAGE: Circa WWI.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" in height x 1-5/8" in width x 5/8" in widness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: To be carried in pocket, protecting matches for lighting your pipe, cheroots, or cigarettes.

MARKINGS: "GOTT MIT UNS"

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Imperial German collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.  VAJV20 LHEX02/25/21 SGEX09/21

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The Match Box Holder shows minor to moderate wear and oxidation, beautiful center medal remain intact. Overall very fine condition.
