ARTIFACT: This is a nice World War I Imperial German Prussian Aviation Observer badge from Late WWI or the very early 1920s. The badge has a crown at top and the body is wreathed with a black and white four-square at center bordered by red.

VINTAGE: Circa 1918 - Early 1920's.

SIZE: 2-3/4" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated brass with red, white and black enameling.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical T-style pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Enamel is vibrantly colored and badge has an overall tarnish with light to medium wear.
