ARTIFACT: This is a World War I French Madaille Militaire with Barbell Suspension with Wording on REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE 1870 on front and VALEUR ET DISCIPLINE (FRENCH REPUBLIC 1870 on front and VALUE AND DISCIPLINE on back)

VINTAGE: World War I.

SIZE: Approximately: 3-3/4" in height x 1-1/2" in width. Barbell Suspension: 1-15/16" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt Bronze and Enameled and Silver plated Bronze with Silk ribbon and

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWI and earlier French Military Aviation Collection, which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX19 LABEX09/24/24

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The medal shows little to minor wear and silk ribbon shows one tiny black spot, otherwise, it is in excellent condition.
