ARTIFACT: WWI Canadian Expeditionary Forces (CEF) 118th North Waterloo Overseas Battalion cap badge. The badge is the shape of a maple leaf with a royal crown at the top center and a badger-like animal in raised detail below. The center of the badge features the number "118" and surrounding it reads: "NORTH WATERLOO OVERSEAS BATTALION CANADA".

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16" x 1-7/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped bronze

ATTACHMENT: Two loops/lugs, cotter pin

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The cap badge shows minor to moderate wear and verdigris, handsome patina, overall very fine condition.
