ARTIFACT: This is a pair of AN-6530 pilot goggles with a Chas. Fischer Spring Co. maker's mark on the underside of the left lens frame. This model of goggle was standard issue for one year and was used by aviators in the Navy, Army and Air Forces. AN6530 is stamped on the piece between the two lenses.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 2-15/16" height and 6-1/2" width and 2-1/2" depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass, plated brass and steel, cotton strap and foam rubber.

ATTACHMENT: Cotton band with adjustable buckle.

MARKINGS: PATENTED CHAS. FISCHER SPRING CO. BROOKLYN N.Y.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Glasses show light wear, mostly on foam rubber.
