ARTIFACT: This is a World War I hat badge from the Royal Flying Corps, the over-land air arm of the British military during World War I. The pin shows the RFC insignia wreathed by laurel leaves with a crown atop.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: 1-3/4" height and 1-3/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops where hat pin would go.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This hat badge is from a British Royal Flying Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJL97

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Badge shows light tarnishing and very minimal wear.
