ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1900s advertising clicker for Moxie soft drink. Moxie was first marketed in 1878, sans carbonated water, as a medicine by Dr. Augustin Thompson of Union, Maine. The clicker is by Whitehead & Hoag.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1900s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4” in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, N.J., PAT. DEC. 6, 1904.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The clicker shows only some light wear and minor oxidation on reverse.
