ARTIFACT: Wonderful United States Centennial Exposition Liberty Bell pewter, lidded early American pattern glass (EAPG) stein patented in 1875. Along the top of the stein it reads: "THROUGHOUT ALL THE LAND PROCLAIM LIBERTY BY ORDER OF THE ASSEMBLY OF PENNA 1752" in embossed lettering. The pewter lid is nicely detailed with raised stars around the outer edge and the center is named to: "W. KELLER". The center of one side of the stein reads: "PASS AND STOW PHILDA MDCCLIII" and the bottom reads: "PATD APRIL 27th 1875".

VINTAGE: Circa late 19th Century

SIZE: Approximately 4-3/8" tall x 4-3/4"/ 2-3/4" top diameter, 3-3/4" bottom diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass, pewter

ATTACHMENT: Handle, hinged pewter lid

MARKINGS: "PATD APRIL 27th 1875"

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The stein shows minor wear, moderate wear to pewter and bottom of stein, handsome patina on lid, overall very fine condition.
