ARTIFACT: Wonderful, rare WWII Glenn L. Martin Aircraft Co. back patch for work coveralls, flight suit, etc. The center of the patch resembles a bulls-eye in red, white, and blue with a white star in the center that reads: "MARTIN U.S.A.", and is flanked on either side with yellow/gold wings.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 10 ¾” x 3 ¼”

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Wool felt, silk/polyester thread, canvas backing

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Aviation Homefront War Workers collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. The patch you will receive will be the one pictured. MEJX15 LAIEX8/15 SAIEX12/18

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The patch shows minor to moderate wear and age/storage wear and moth nips, embroidered aspects of the patch are in excellent condition showing bright colors.
