ARTIFACT: This is a Wonderful Late 1920's South Gate California Police Captain Badge #2 by Carl Entenmann JLY.Co.(Jewelry Company). Same Style as Neighboring Los Angeles Police Department Series 5 Badge.

VINTAGE: Late 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/8" in height x 2-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass, hard-fired blue enamel and nickel findings. The badge weighs in at a hefty 2.9oz / 82g.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with Original Large Tube Type C Catch, and Wire "Rivets".
